Mary Anning and the Men of Science exhibition
We created an exhibition on Mary Anning (1799-1848), the famous fossil collector from Lyme Regis, as part of the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society in 2010. Mary Anning was one of the ‘Local Heroes’ named by the Royal Society, which funded the exhibition and associated events. You can see some of the exhibits on the BBC website.
